The colors that lower the value of your car

The wrong color of the car can be fatal for the person who wants to sell, shows a new survey. Close to half of Swedes would refrain from a purchase because of the car's color. So which are the colors that lower or increase the value of your car?

It's not just "wrong", or the lack of, equipment that can lower the value of your car. If you as a buyer want to be on the safe side that you will get the car sold in the future, it is a good idea to also invest in a color that is in demand on the market.

Difference between men and women

According to a Sifo survey, as many as 44 percent of Swedes believe that the wrong color of the car would cause them to back out of a car purchase. It is mainly the men who think that the color of the car is decisive and especially younger and middle-aged men in the upper income strata. Older women, on the other hand, are less inclined to let the color of the car guide the purchase decision.

A deal breaker - for some

For some, the color of the paint is just a detail, but for many it is obviously a deal breaker. It may be worth considering when making a purchase if you also want to make a good deal on the day the car is to be sold on. The tip is to buy a car with a classic paint color and try to avoid flashy colors or other coloring that happens to be in vogue at the moment.
