Attractive options for the car

Are you thinking of buying a new car? Don't forget to look at what options and equipment the car has. Both for your own comfort and to increase the resale value in case of a possible sale.

When Swedes choose options for the car, the most important thing is that it is warm and comfortable, if you look at which options are most popular according to a Sifo survey. Air conditioning and electrically heated seats are the options that the Swedes rank highest. Other options that top the list are parking sensors and reversing camera, the ability to play music from the phone and an adaptive cruise control. Options that are not as popular are interior panels, digital radio and tinted windows.

Many people focus on the outside of the car before a purchase, but the inside is at least as important, especially once you use the car. Choose options that increase your comfort in everyday life and are attractive if you are going to resell the car in the future.

About the survey: The survey was conducted in TNS Sifo's web panel during the period 25–31 January 2017. A total of 1,775 people aged 16-79 were interviewed. The web panel is nationally representative recruited based on random selection. There is no self-recruitment in Sifo's web panel.
