The drivetrain should work but requires ongoing maintenance and replacement of components. The drivetrain is noisier than on a car that has driven a shorter distance. Brakes are wearing parts and should be replaced when necessary. Surface rust may occur on the brake discs and is considered normal, without affecting braking performance.

Several stone chips in the front are common, as is a worn windshield. There is often minor damage around the car such as scratches, paint damage, and small dents. Minor rust is common, especially on older cars.

Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.
