What do we notice in the Kvd test?
Our vehicle technicians have tested the car on more than 170 points and noted both approved points and eventual remarks. This gives you a good and fair picture of the car.
Since the the car has had a previous owner, some signs of use may be present, which we consider normal wear based on the car’s age and mileage. This is not indicated in the test results, but is a natural part of a used car.

Minor oil leak. Slight jerking in the drivetrain when accelerating. Minor whining noise when turning.
The drivetrain should work but requires ongoing maintenance and replacement of components. The drivetrain is noisier than on a car that has driven a shorter distance. Traces of oil in the engine compartment are very common and oil consumption is higher than when the car was new. The range on electricity is limited.

Brakes are wearing parts and should be replaced when necessary. Surface rust may occur on the brake discs and is considered normal, without affecting braking performance.

Service light on. AC works but cools poorly. Steering wheel is off-center, wheel alignment recommended. Worse airflow from the ventilation grille between driver and passenger.

Scratches on the windshield. Stone chips on the windshield. Body damage on the right rear fender, multiple stone chips, door dings, dents and scratches. Body, some cracked/damaged plastic parts, multiple rust spots. Traces of previous decoration. The right front door sticks slightly and has poorer fitment than the left.
Several stone chips in the front are common, as is a worn windshield. There is often minor damage around the car such as scratches, paint damage, and small dents. Minor rust is common, especially on older cars.
Interior
Worse than normal condition.

Cargo area with several scuffs, stains, and dents. Inside a few scratches, stains, and marks. The steering wheel is worn.
Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.

Tires are a wearing part and need to be replaced when they are old, when the tread depth is not sufficient or if the tires have obvious damage. The tread depth is indicated in millimeters. Scuff marks or scratches on the rims are also present.
