All vehicles sold through Kvdcars have undergone our thorough and independent vehicle inspection, the KVD-test. Our condition categories clearly show the state of each car, from exceptionally well maintained vehicles to cars that may require repairs, based on the inspection results.

Which cars are included in Certified Plus?
These cars meet, among other things, the following criteria:
All requirements for Certified
Bodywork and interior assessed to be in better than normal condition
In other words, you can expect the car to meet the same standards as Certified, meaning it fulfils our specifically defined requirements for condition and function. On top of that, the bodywork and interior have been assessed to be in better than normal condition. Nice, right?
With Certified, you get a car that is:
Ready to drive from day one
In good technical and functional condition
A safe choice, plain and simple
Which cars are included in Certified?
These cars meet, among other things, the following criteria:
Have undergone the KVD-test
Are no more than 8 years old
Have a maximum mileage of 120,000 km
Have no remarks on the drivetrain
Have no significant remarks regarding brakes, technology or equipment
The tyres have approved tread depth
In other words, you can expect key components such as the engine, gearbox and brakes to be in good working order at the time of inspection. The equipment in the car is also in good condition. Good to know, right?
With Tested, you get a car that is:
A normal used car
In working condition, with some wear and tear
May be well maintained and in good condition, but does not qualify as Certified due to age or mileage
An option for those who accept that certain things may need attention
Which cars are included in Tested?
These cars meet, among other things, the following criteria:
Have undergone the KVD-test
May have remarks affecting function, comfort or appearance
May require maintenance, repairs or other actions
In other words, you can expect a car that corresponds to what is normally expected of a used vehicle in average condition. At the same time, it is important to carefully review the inspection report, as there may be remarks and items that require attention after purchase.
With Repair Objects, you get a car that is:
In need of repairs or extensive work
Sold as is
An option for those who are able and willing to fix the car themselves
Which cars are included as Repair Objects?
These cars are characterised by serious faults or defects that affect function, safety or driveability. This may include extensive technical issues, major damage or other deficiencies that require action.
It is important to carefully review the inspection report and all remarks in order to understand the condition of the car. Expectations regarding the car’s functionality should be low, even for parts that do not have specific remarks. Repair Objects are best suited for buyers who have the knowledge, ability and interest to carry out repairs after purchase.
