When an item is being delivered to a Kvdcars facility

Are you delivering a vehicle from your company’s fleet to us? Below is a clear checklist of what needs to be in place before drop-off – to ensure a smooth process without unnecessary issues.

With over 30 years in the business, we know that a clean and presentable vehicle or machine is easier to sell. Here are a few optional tips that help ensure a successful sale:

• Rinse the exterior of the vehicle/machine.

• Tidy the interior and remove all personal belongings.

Also important before delivery:

• Is the vehicle/machine financed? If so, we need information about the finance company and the contract number.

• Remove any electronic driving log (GPS tracker).

• Place all important documents in the glove compartment or cabin – such as the registration certificate, service records, etc.

• Ensure the yellow part of the registration certificate is included at drop-off. If missing, order a new one from the Swedish Transport Agency.
  (Not required if the vehicle is under a leasing agreement.)

• Place all keys to the vehicle/machine in the glove compartment or cabin.

• Electric vehicles must have at least 50% charge at drop-off.
  Petrol and diesel vehicles should have at least a quarter tank.
  Gas-powered vehicles must be fully refueled for functionality checks.

• If there is insufficient fuel or battery charge (petrol, diesel, gas or electric), Kvdcars will charge for refueling or charging.
