Checklist – Before delivering your vehicle

Are you delivering a vehicle from your company’s fleet to us? We’ve put together a checklist to make sure everything is in order before drop-off – ensuring a smooth process without unexpected issues.

• Clean the vehicle and remove all personal belongings.

• Make sure to disconnect any smartphones and erase linked accounts, payment cards and other private information.

• Remove any installed electronic logbooks (e.g. GPS trackers).

• Place all important documents in the glove compartment, such as the registration certificate, service records, etc.

• Make sure the registration certificate (the yellow part) is included at drop-off.
  If missing, order a new one from the Swedish Transport Agency.
  (Not required if the vehicle is leased.)

• Place all keys, wheel lock socket, and detachable towbar key in the glove compartment.

• Any winter/summer tires, spare tire or puncture repair kit should be in the vehicle.
  The correct tires for the season must be mounted – otherwise, a tire change fee will be charged.

• Include any charging cables in the vehicle.

• If available, the luggage compartment privacy cover should also be included.

• Electric vehicles must be at least 50% charged at drop-off.
  For petrol or diesel cars, at least a quarter tank is required.
  Gas-powered vehicles must be fully refueled for functionality checks.

• If the vehicle does not have sufficient fuel or charge (petrol, diesel, gas, or electricity), Kvdcars will charge for refueling or charging.

A valid inspection (within the inspection period) must be completed on all vehicles unless already done prior to drop-off. For gas-powered vehicles, proof must be provided that the gas tank has been inspected within the past 15 months.
