When turning in the car to Kvdcars
Are you dropping off your car with us? Here’s a simple checklist of things to keep in mind before you head to the drop-off. To make the process as smooth as possible and avoid any unnecessary surprises.
The sales agreement must be signed before we can receive your car.
Please make sure the car has at least two months left until the next inspection and that it passed its most recent inspection.
A roadworthiness inspection (within the inspection period) will always be carried out and charged for all vehicles unless already completed before the car is handed over to Kvdcars.
All keys as well as any locking bolt/socket and towbar key.
The most recently issued registration certificate, both the yellow and blue parts.
Service book and any service documents.
Don’t forget that any charging cables must be included in the car.
Electric cars must have at least 50% charge at drop-off and don’t forget any charging cables.
Petrol/diesel cars must have at least a quarter tank at drop-off.
Gas-powered cars must have a full tank at drop-off for a functionality check.
If there isn’t enough fuel (petrol, diesel, gas, or electricity), Kvdcars will charge you for refueling or charging.
For gas-powered cars, a certificate must be provided showing that the gas tank has been inspected within the last 15 months.
Remember to disconnect your smartphone and delete any connected accounts, payment cards, and other personal information.
Don’t forget to remove all personal belongings from the car!
