One of the most popular and frequently-sold cars on the Swedish market is the Volvo V70. This series which Volvo produced for almost 20 years has become a real favorite amongst many car owners. The V70 is living proof that Swedish quality is long-lasting. It is synonymous with driving safety which has made it a preferred choice as a company car as well as perfect for families with children. The V70 was first introduced in 1997 and during the time it was manufactured Volvo marketed several generations of this model as well as featuring a wide range of accessory packages. such as the Volvo V70 R and the Volvo V70 Classic. Like most cars made by Volvo the V70 is available with different fuel alternatives including gasoline, diesel, gas (Bi-Fuel) and ethanol (E85/gasoline). Around 2000 an up-dated generation of the V70 was introduced with a new platform and later an innovative engine design. Also available in this same series is Volvos crossover model the Volvo XC70 featuring AWD technology that evenly distributes engine power between all four wheels. After 20 years as Volvo's top-selling car, the company decided to stop production of the V70 and focus on the V90 which a somewhat bigger and more deluxe model is. But the V70 is still going strong and if you want a Swedish-made top-quality car that offers both safety and comfort then the Volvo V70 is the car for you!
